Description

This workbook will enable you to understand your responsibilities as an employee and those of your employer, recognise hazards, and have an increased awareness of health and safety in the home.

Once you have completed this workbook, you will be required to complete a test paper either online or by sending the completed paper to Independent Lives by post or email. Upon successful completion of the test paper, you will be issued with a certificate.

Areas you will be covering for health and safety are:

• Fire
• First aid
• Manual handling
• Chemical safety
• Personal safety
• Drink and drugs

By the end of this workbook you will be able to:

• Know your responsibilities as an employee and that of your employer in term of health and safety
