Weekend Personal Assistant/Carer – Join My Team!

About Me:
I’m a Disabled woman in my mid-40s looking for friendly and reliable PA/Carers to join my small team. I live independently in my own home and need a extra support at the weekends, plus some help with tasks like assistance to go shopping during the week.

Shifts Available:

  • Saturday evening: Around 6pm-7pm
  • Sunday morning: 9am-10am
  • Sunday evening: Around 6pm-7pm
  • Shopping support: Midweek and weekend afternoons (flexible)

There may also be additional shifts available to cover holidays and sick leave.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Helping with personal care (dressing/undressing, etc.)
  • Household tasks such as light cleaning and organising
  • Accompanying me on food shopping trips medical appointments and social activities
  • Supporting me to live independently and enjoy life!

What I'm Looking For:

  • Someone honest, friendly, and reliable.
  • Comfortable following instructions and working as part of a team.
  • Physically able to assist with light mobility tasks.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence (if driving me to appointments).
  • Willing to follow infection prevention measures (I have a compromised immune system).

Duties include:

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Must be able to appreciate the need for infection control, as I have a weakened immune system.  This will mean potentially extra hand-washing or if unwell wearing a facemask and gloves, which the employer will provide.
  • I don’t mind smokers applying, so long as they don’t smoke near me.  No smoking on work premises.  Breaks will be given if on longer shifts assisting me outside the house, and I’m quite happy to be flexible about this.
