£12-£15 (negotiable based on experience)

I’m looking for a special needs teaching assistant or a special educator to support my child aged 13 years in her functional well-being. The post requires a talented teaching assistant who is flexible, enthusiastic, and dedicated in supporting children with educational needs. Training can be provided by the supporting consultant, but candidate should possess basic play skills in the likes of engaging a toddler, with the vision to help the child develop independent skills.

NVQ certificate in Health and Social Care is an advantage. Competitive salary and hours can be 5-10hrs per week depending on how well you are able to play and engage with the child. It would involve 1:1 support and hygiene care.

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance
