I am currently looking to recruit two part care assistants to work 2.5 hours per week with an immediate start. This is to assist my blind and disabled son to attend swimming every Thursday evening and going swimming with him and his other carers.
My son is 36 years old with a very rare condition called Bosch-Boonstra-Schaaf optic atrophy syndrome (BBSOAS). He is very friendly, gentle and kind. He has a mental age of 4 and so is more like a toddler at heart and mind. He likes to stick to the very same routine even with food.
He needs help in all activities and daily living i.e pads change and feeding.
