Between 4-8 hours, ideally in school holidays but some hours maybe required more regularly. Flexibility needed.
Hourly pay rate:
£11.44
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and patient Support Worker/PA to support our young son with activities in the community.
He is 8 years old and has non-verbal Autism and needs support with developing independence, managing his emotions and sensory needs, developing awareness around road safety and stranger danger.
He is inquisitive and loves being outdoors. He also loves animals, watching the ducks, anything frog related, playing catch and throw. Activities would include taking him to the park, playgrounds, swimming/playing in shallow water. You may be required to push him in his buggy very occasionally.
Supporting him with activities at home may also be required occasionally.
Experience of working with children with non-verbal Autism is essential. Driver with own car required. Must be fit and healthy to carry out all tasks and able to keep him safe and supervised at all times.
Duties include:
Support with social/leisure activities in the community
Developing independence, managing emotions and sensory needs
