Hours per week:
6 hours per week over 1 or 2 days, exact days and times to be discussed (not Thursdays)
Hourly pay rate:
£12
I am looking for a personal assistant with a positive, cheerful disposition, who is energetic and loves dogs. I need help with motivation and would support to attend new activities and have the odd day out. I am energetic, friendly and extremely keen to try new things but just lacking in confidence due to previous mental health issues
I have a friendly dog, which will sometimes be with me during support sessions, so a dog friendly person is ideal.
Duties include:
- To accompany and support me when accessing the community and activities that I enjoy e.g. swimming, pottery, arts and crafts.
- To help me find and access new activities, if they take my interest and meaningful activities, such as voluntary opportunities
Candidate qualities:
- Be friendly with a good sense of humour and be a good sympathetic listener.
- I like to walk and can do so at quite a fast pace, so must be fit enough for this.
- Be a good motivator.
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
