Hours per week:

3 hours a week either Friday evening or at the weekend or 6 hours every other weekend we can be flexible. Plus 5 hours a week in school holidays actual days and hours by mutual agreement . Job share welcome so please apply if you can only commit to some of the hours available

Hourly pay rate:

£15 per hour plus 35p per mile

Love working with children? We’re looking for a caring, energetic personal assistant for our amazing 10-year-old son. He’s a bright, charming boy who enjoys swimming, cycling, bowling, and building LEGO masterpieces.

Your role includes supporting him in these activities, assisting with some personal care, and helping with his manual wheelchair.

Duties include:

  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Dressing / undressing

  • Ensure my son and his environment are safe, clean and hygienic.
  • Assist my son to get dressed for relevant activities e.g., when going swimming.
  • Accompanying my son on trips out (swimming, bowling, parks, cycling) keeping him safe.
  • The above duties will involve driving our son in the PA’s car, lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car, pushing my son’s wheelchair when out.
  • On days our son is too fatigued to go out then keeping him safe and engaging in calm activities at home.

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
