I have severe mental health, learning difficulties, dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism and ADHD. I am looking for someone with experience to support me to get back on track and my wife can benefit from some respite. It can take me time to get used to someone new and to build a relationship I can feel very overwhelmed so you will need to have patience and be calm around me.
I suffer from low mood, and this can impact on how I feel, I will need to be prompted to get up and shower, have breakfast and take any medication. I can manage some household tasks again when prompted and mentally well. I would like to make use of facilities or services in the local community. I am unable to do this independently at present.
I have 18 hours per week available, 1 hour per morning Monday to Friday for my morning routine, 2 hours at lunchtimes, Monday to Friday to help prepare lunch and a drink and go out afterwards for an activity or access the community. There are 3 hours extra on a Wednesday afternoon for household chores and laundry or activities.
