I’m looking for an experienced Personal Assistant with whom I can build a trusting and supportive relationship. I live in Hastings with my 10-year-old autistic son.

I had gastric sleeve surgery in August 2021 and I have obstructive sleep apnoea, for which I use a CPAP machine. I also have six herniated discs in my spine and arthritis caused by a back injury I sustained while working as a nurse. I experience carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands and wear splints at night. Additionally, I have Chronic Plantar Fasciitis in both feet, which causes pain, discomfort, balance issues, and mobility difficulties. Depending on the level of pain, I use either a walking stick or elbow crutches to get around.

I was born with Hypermobility, have one leg longer than the other, and a slight deformity in my left foot. I also live with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD), a thyroid goitre, and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). I struggle to cope with stress, which often triggers flare-ups of Fibromyalgia.

I need support to maintain a clean, clutter-free home, as I become easily fatigued and overwhelmed by household tasks. Help with laundry and general domestic duties would be greatly appreciated. I’d also like support in eating more healthily and preparing batch-cooked meals for the freezer.

My son has an eating disorder and is hypersensitive to colours and textures in food, so he only eats a limited variety.

Because of my health issues and fatigue, I may need reminders or support to change clothes and ensure I have access to clean ones.

I would really benefit from PA support in getting out into the local community, whether that’s for leisure, shopping, or visiting a café.

I’m flexible with the days and times that support is provided and will do my best to work around your availability.
