Hourly pay rate:
£23.32 ph
Seeking a compassionate and experienced personal assistant to assist a 67-year-old gentleman with evening care in the Eastbourne area. This role involves providing support with Morning & bedtime routines and walking an assistance dog.
Duties include:
- Previous experience as a carer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of personal assistant insurance and safeguarding protocols
- Ability to use a hoist and assist with mobility
- Friendly and patient demeanor, with a compassionate approach to care
- Assisting with bedtime routines and ensuring the individual is comfortable and safe
- Providing walking assistance and supporting mobility with an assistance dog
- Using a hoist for safe transfers, as the individual is a wheelchair owner
- Maintaining a friendly and supportive environment
- Preparing my breakfast
Candidate qualities:
- Must like dogs as I have an assistance dog that needs a 10 minute walk as part of job description
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
