I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman*

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

10.5 Hours over 1 day (7-30am - 6-00pmThursday), with possibility of extra hrs to cover holiday and sick days of current PA’s.

Hourly pay rate:

£15

We are looking for a special woman to join us in supporting and caring for our 31 year old daughter, who has multiple special needs and is fully wheelchair dependent. You will work alongside one of our other two very special PA’s. Our daughter is generally very content and happy with life, and has a cheeky disposition.

She loves company and receiving plenty of hugs. She also enjoys visiting cafe’s for a cuppa and a snack. She has a passion for singing, and listening to music. She enjoys a very wide variety of songs, including Christmas songs (all year round!!!!!!!) and Christian praise songs. This is a rewarding role, with full training provided. Applicants must hold a full driving license.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Shopping
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
  • Non-smoker due to medical reasons
  • Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
  • Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
