3 x 2 hours a week after school 4 hours at the weekend 4 x 4 hours a week during school holidays. These are flexible hours and can be discussed/split with multiple PAs

Hourly pay rate:

£12.40 per hour. Mileage expenses:45p per mile

Are you looking for a fun and active role?

Our 6-year-old son is a very happy cheeky little boy who loves being active and being out and about. We are looking for multiple, kind and caring personal assistants to take him out and about to various activities, whilst keeping him safe.

He enjoys going to soft play, parks, swimming, running & jumping, visiting farms and theme parks. He absolutely loves Peppa Pig! He is also happy in his buggy going for walks and watching the world go by.

Our son is Autistic and non-verbal. He has a limited understanding and has no awareness of danger, so will need constant supervision.
You will need to be patient and adaptable to his needs, being a calming presence when he is full of energy for example. Experience with ASD/complex needs is preferred.

There will be some personal care involved as he wears pull ups.

We are looking for multiple PAs to cover the following:

3 x 2 hours a week after school
4 hours on a weekend
4 x 4 hours a week in school holidays
Hours are flexible and can be discussed

Expenses will be covered

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Accessing social and leisure activities e.g. swimming, soft pay, parks, farm visits etc

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Must be kind, caring and patient, with experience of ASD / complex needs.

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
