Hours per week:

Various hours/ shifts available – please apply stating which you can do

Hourly pay rate:

£11.45 weekdays, £11.95 weekends. Sleeping night flat rate (£60.00)

Part time female personal assistant positions required to work in Croydon with myself in my home, on rotation with two PAs. Living with limited mobility and a wheelchair user.

Three shifts available...
The hours would be split with the  morning and evening calls and sleeping nights.

Some flexibility with the rota can be discussed with the right candidates... Training will be given.
Care experience preferred.

Hours:~
Wednesday Thursday and Fridays
08.00 am to 17.00pm

Tuesday evening - alternate Saturday Sunday evenings
21. 00pm to 00.00 am

Hours:~
Monday to Sunday
Sleeping Night 23.30 pm to 07.00am
Flat rate (£60.00)

Equipment:~
Shower chair, Patient Turner Stand, electric standing hoist, walking frame, ceiling hoist, electric wheelchair. Sliding sheet.

Bed to shower chair transfers using sit to stand turner or ceiling hoist

Hourly Rate:~
£11.45 weekdays
£11.95 weekends
Successful candidates

Hourly Rate Shadowing :~ £8.50

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Moving and handling
  • Housekeeping
  • Dressing / undressing

  • Personal Care - washing and dressing, incontinence care
  • Wound dressing
  • Mobility Support /Manual Handling
  • Light domestic cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Occasional meal preparation
  • Light shopping and Prescription collection

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Notes:

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
