Hours per week:
7 hours a week for 1 x PA. Monday: in person 9:30 to 12:00, then 30 minutes telephone support during the afternoon/evening. Wednesday: in person 11:00 to 14:30, then 30 minutes telephone support during the afternoon/evening. If possible, flexibility for medical appointments that occur on a Monday or Wednesday outside of these hours.
Hourly pay rate:
£12.21, plus mileage will be paid from my address to appointments/activities.
I am a 69 year old lady who lives independently with the support of Personal Assistants.
I enjoy sewing, gardening and going for a coffee and watching the world go by! I do not require personal care, but due to my medical conditions I require support with day to day activities both inside the home and out.
The main role of my Personal Assistants is to help me access the community, so I need a car owner with a full UK licence.
I like a good chat and get on well with sociable people who enjoy a caring role.
Duties include:
Providing emotional support as required.
Attendance at medical appointments.
Candidate qualities:
Experience of working with individuals with cognitive processing delays / acquired brain injury.
