Personal Assistant/ Support Worker

I am looking for personal care for a Man

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

12 hours a week in the 13 weeks of school holidays (actual days and times by mutual agreement)

Hourly pay rate:


He loves trains buses Mario bros Marvel characters, swimming, jumping, bowling and being outdoors.

He likes routine and is a happy boy if he is doing what he wants to do.

I am looking for someone to engage with my son at home and in the community keeping him safe.

This is a rewarding role with all professional training provided


Duties include:

  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Companionship

  • Reminding my son to flush the toilet and to wash his hands
  • Accompanying employer’s son on trips out e.g. bowling swimming trips to the park
  • The above duties could involve driving the employer’s son in the PA’s car or using public transport.
  • Whilst on duty at the employer’s home watching TV and engaging my son in activities he enjoys.

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Able to tolerate the employer smoking in the workplace
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
  • Happy to work in a smoking environment
