Personal Assistant/Support Worker


• We are looking for a fun loving person to be a PA to our 14 year old daughter.
• She loves drawing, singing, skateboarding, cos play and anime.
• She loves going out to starbucks, make up shopping, road trips, going to the skate park and she loves animals.
• She has a great sense of humour and likes to socialise when she feels up to it.
• We would like someone who could take her out and connect in with her on her special interests.
• She has a diagnosis of ADHD, ASC and Tourette's so some experience of ASC would be required
• She is currently out of school and so we are looking for someone during the day and at weekends.
• To go out on adventure walks

Duties include:

  • Companionship
  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Other relevant duties as required

Additional Duties:

• May need to give medication occasionally but training given on this
• To support to attend activities such as shopping, skate park and Starbucks
• To go out on adventure walks

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

• Experience of ASC is essential but not of ADHD or Tourette’s, as employer can provide this
