Personal Assistant/ Support Worker- new rates of pay

I am looking for personal care for a Child

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

2 - 3 hrs Sat and an extra 2 hrs a week during school holidays - flexible days

Hourly pay rate:

£12 per hour

I am looking for a special person to support my 7 year old daughter who loves music and dancing

The role is to support her to develop her independence and social skills through activities

This would be by taking her to the park or doing fun activities at home

At times it would be to support us so we can go out as a family with her younger brother

There is some personal care involved

My daughter uses Makaton to communicate so some basic experience of this would be useful

Most of the support is needed in the school holidays but please apply if you can only do some of the hours

Duties include:

  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Companionship
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Support to mobilise – able to walk with support
  • Support with toileting and changing
  • Support to promote fun activities
  • Support to develop social skills
  • Support to develop independence skills
  • Managing safety within the community

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
