I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

Regular hours are needed on Monday or Friday, (you don’t have to be able to offer both) and hours are negotiable, but currently shifts are 4 hours, either 8am until 12pm or 1pm until 5 pm.

Hourly pay rate:

£11.11 to £13.44, depending on experience

I am seeking a highly empathetic and compassionate individual to join a small team of PAs to help me continue to live as independently as possible at my home in Forest Row. I would particularly like to hear from you if you feel you possess the unique set of gifts, skills and understanding to make a real difference to my wellbeing and sense of independence.

Previous PA experience is not essential, but the right set of values is. I’ve been living with my condition for 10 years and in that time I have learned a lot about myself and my needs. Importantly, I’ve learned that I can’t manage alone and that working closely with PAs has really helped me live day to day, not just survive.

A bit more about me: I’m mostly a wheelchair user, largely homebound, and due to mobility problems I’m limited when up and about. I also have a weakened immune system so  PPE must be worn and is provided. However, and despite physical limitations, I manage all personal care, most of the time, but need help and support with the every day things.  I’m actively involved in various projects that keep me occupied, and I like to think I have a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
