Hours per week:
Every other Saturday – 10am – 2pm, Monday – 10am – 3pm, Wednesday – 10am – 3pm, Friday - 1pm – 6pm - Average hours per week 16
Hourly pay rate:
£12.00 Monday – Friday, £13.50 Saturday and Sunday

My 20 year son is looking for a personal assistant/buddy to help him gain confidence and independence when out in the community.
This role could be supplementary to a benefit claim as the hours are below the allowance or could also be worked around another job.
As a key worker role this could compliment an income support claim as it is below the earning limit.

• My 20 year son is looking for a personal assistant/buddy to help him gain confidence and independence when out in the community.
• The role will involve encouraging and supporting my son when taking part in activities that he enjoys. For example; Watching Brighton and Hove football club play home games, visiting small music venues/events, swimming, bowling, cinema, visiting cafes and going clothes shopping.
• Ideally the successful PA would have experience of working with somebody who has anxiety, OCT and Autism however this experience is not essential as long as you are patient and willing to learn.
• My son is a really chatty and friendly person who enjoys the company of others.
• This is a rewarding role where somebody could really help a young person gain skills and confidence so that they can become more independent.
• Training can be provided as part of the role
Duties include:
Accompanying, assisting and supporting the customer to access fun and leisure activities such as; -
watching Brighton and Hove football club play home games.
- Visiting cafes and coffee shops
- Clothes shopping
- Local small music events and venues
- Martial arts sessions
- Going for a walk
- Cinema
- Bowling
- Swimming
- Accompanying young person to doctors/hospital appointments when required
- Occasional longer journeys
The above duties could involve driving the employer in the PA’s car,
Candidate qualities:
- Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
