Hours per week:

24 hours to be split and shared between Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 10am -18.00

Hourly pay rate:

£12 Per Hour

I am a young man who is independently minded, loves the cinema and enjoys making Youtube videos. I’m looking for someone to help keep me company and help with general housework and to help me get out and about in the community.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Gardening
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
