Are you someone looking for an active and fun role?

Our outgoing 8-year-old son has lots of energy to burn! He is very inquisitive and loves to ask why a lot!

This role will involve helping our son access social and leisure activities such as going for short walks, bowling, swimming, soft play and also encouraging him to participate in new activities and experiences. We would really like him to develop his own interests and give him the chance to feel like he is making his own choices. You will need to be able to use your own car to drive to and from places/activities.

Our son has Autism and will need someone calm and patient to understand his needs. He displays some repetitive behaviours and can be hypersensitive to situations. He also has a sensory processing disorder and can be sensitive to loud or sudden noises.  His low muscle tone can make longer walks tricky and he will always say if he has had enough.

If you have the skills and experience to take on our bundle of energy, please apply, we would really like to meet you.

Duties include:

  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
