Hours per week:

6 hrs per week across Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays

Hourly pay rate:

£12.50

I am a 47 year-old female looking to employ an individual to support me and my 9 year-old daughter to access the community and in organising and managing a functional home for us in our new purpose built ground floor flat in Eastbourne town centre.

We would like support going to the shops, cafes, visiting the promenade and local parks etc in my own car.

We both like to keep busy with arts and crafts such as knitting jumpers, cardigans, hats, scarves, blankets and painting.

Of an evening we enjoy cooking together, with my daughter liking to experiment with different dishes and we have started growing our own herbs.

I suffer with anxiety and mobility issues. I am a wheelchair user 80/85% of the time. My independence is very important to me, and I am determined to do physical tasks by myself and wish that to be respected unless I ask for help.

I have a good sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh, although it does take me a little while to get to know somebody.

  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
