I am a 95 year old lady, with various health needs and need someone to be with me, to keep me safe.

I have interests in reading, craft work and gardening. I enjoy going out in the car, and driving around my local area. I have two cats, so a cat lover is essential.

I am looking for someone to cover for 2 hours per day, alternate weekends, so my main PA  can have a break. Duties will include - keeping me safe when I am mobilising around my home, making me a hot drink, basic meal preparation and providing me with companionship.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Housekeeping
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
