We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to provide daytime support to an individual with complex and fluctuating care needs to join as soon as possible.
This is a permanent position for 40 hours per week during the day only, as night-time care is already in place. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £14.07, with enhanced pay for bank holidays at time and a half.
The successful candidate will assist with a wide range of care tasks that vary from day to day. Responsibilities will include supporting with personal care routines, dressing, hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and medication reminders, as well as performing light household duties related to care. The role also involves providing emotional support and companionship, so a caring, respectful, and attentive approach is essential.
Experience in a similar role is preferred, particularly in supporting individuals with complex or changeable health needs. However, applicants without direct care experience may be considered if they can demonstrate the right values, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Good communication skills, patience, and the ability to work independently are important for this role.
