As my current admin PA is retiring I am looking for a friendly, patient and efficient PA to take on this role. I am a woman with MS living a full and active life. The main tasks are to support me with my Direct Payments and other administrative duties. You will need organisational, IT, literacy and numeracy skills as well as being able to work using your own initiative. This is a part time (3-4 hours a week) vacancy with flexibility in the hours you work.
A knowledge of the benefits system and how DP operate would be beneficial although training can be given. A full driving licence and willingness to drive me in your vehicle would be helpful but is not essential.
I also have a second role available for someone to work a few additional hours (and possibly cover annual leave) assisting me with personal and practical care/ light housework (no heavy lifting involved). If you are interested in this second role, please see job advert DP202 for a weekend PA.
Duties include:
- Completing timesheets
- Support with keeping up with payroll
- Coordinating PA annual leave and arranging cover when needed
Candidate qualities:
- Reasonable level of IT
- Experience in direct payments
- Knowledge of the benefits systems
