Hours per week:

24-hour shift (8am - 8am with sleeping night and 3-hour break) , every Saturday and alternating Sundays. Flexibility required to work adhoc for sickness cover and holidays.

Hourly pay rate:

£14.30 per hour, £300.30 per shift

I'm an adult lady who enjoys listening to music and reading and I am looking for an assistant, to support me to remain living independently in my own home.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with pets and willing to engage with our cat as part of the home environment.

The role will be offered on an employed only basis. If you are employed for the role, you will be entitled to pro rata holiday pay, statutory sick pay upon providing a certificate of sickness from GP after 7 days. A contract of employment will be issued and paid shadow hours with a current member of staff.

Duties include:

  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  •  I do not require eating and drinking assistance however I do need support with carrying plates
  • I can administer my medication myself but would like support to open the bottles
  • Personal care
