Hours per week:
Shifts available 7 days a week consisting of 12 hour shifts (7 until 7)
Hourly pay rate:
Employed rate: £13.11 per hour. Self employed rate: £16.83 per hour but are expected to pay their own tax and insurance.
A personal assistant is required in the Ringmer area of East Sussex. Option of self employment or employed. Support is needed 7 days a week consisting of 12 hour shifts (7 until 7). A flexible approach is necessary for hospital or medical visits. Additional hours may be necessary to attend these appointments. Occasionally more hours may be offered to you to provide cover for colleagues on holiday or dealing with family matters. The care is required for a male amputee who is a wheelchair user living with a family dominated by a cat. A small amount of cooking and general household chores is required on day and night shifts.

Candidate qualities:
- Must be comfortable with cats
- You do need to be fit enough to support my needs where a hand propelled wheelchair has to be used. Hospitals etc.
- Should have a clean UK driving license for insurance purposes for driving a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
- Experience using moving and handling equipment such as a hoist would be beneficial.
- Ability to laugh would be a welcome trait.
- Up to date training
- Self-employed PAs will need up to date insurance and proof of self-employed status
