Minimum of 12 hours split over upto 4 visits per day, more hours available if wanted.

Hourly pay rate:

£24 ph approx

My mum is 90 and has dementia, she still lives independently in her own home with help. We already have a PA in place but need someone else for help and support.

Mum needs help showering, washing and dressing, preparing meals and walking her tiny friendly chihuahua.

Some light housework and prepping meals. Occasional short outings.   Need to be available for a bedtime call at 10pm ish and weekends. Must be dog friendly and chatty.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
