I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman*

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Monday to Friday 7.45am – 9.15am, job share available please apply if you do any of the above days.

Hourly pay rate:

£13 per hour

Enthusiastic, cheerful and reliable female support worker/s needed to help get me up in the morning.  I am a 26-year-old young woman with cerebral palsy needing help with all my personal care.  I like to chat, watch DVD’s and look forward to my day ahead.

I am generally good natured and friendly if you are happy to help me do things my way.

I have cerebral palsy and need help with all tasks due to my physical limitations.

I use a powered wheelchair as I cannot walk but I am good at doing standing transfers with help

My mum will help with some of the tasks as I prefer to transfer using a turner not a hoist.

I have some speech, but you will need to get to know me to understand me.

Training will be given, and a care is in place for you to follow

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance
