Hourly pay rate:

£13.50 per hour

My Husband is a responsible and intelligent man that is smart and easy to talk to but his speech is affected from the stroke and sometimes it is difficult to understand what he saying. He has a great sense of humour when he is in a good mood, but he is now a bit quieter since his stroke. My husband enjoys reading, watching a bit of TV and going for walks.

The PA/carer will be working with my husband for his personal care needs as well as making sure his life has enrichment by accompanying him for walks and possibly shopping in the future. There will also be a cleaning aspect to the role. Further information will be provided at the point of interview.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance
