I am looking for personal care for a Woman
The candidate should be a woman*
Drivers licence required: Yes
Hours per week:
4 hours on every other Saturday and Sunday, ideally 9.00am-1.00pm Plus cover for Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00am-1.00pm
Hourly pay rate:
Please give your self employed hourly rate when you apply
I am a 65 year old lady needing support to live independently.
I have a cheerful manner and my hobbies include music, jigsaw puzzles and shopping
Duties include personal care/toileting, preparing meals including feeding and making drinks, domestic tasks, assisting me with exercises, supporting to go on outings, driving my motability van.
A non-smoker is preferred
You should be female, friendly, cheerful, patient, reliable and trustworthy.
You will need to provide evidence of your self employed status, HMRC registration and public liability insurance.
A clean driving licence is a must.
Duties include:
- Laundry
- Preparing breakfast and lunch, snacks, drinks
- Washing up any breakfast making equipment, emptying dishwasher
- Assisting with exercise on passive cycler.
- Helping me transfer on to commode for toileting, using the peristeen system to aid a bowel movement - training will be provided.
- Empty and clean commode and chair after.

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
