Hours per week:
12 hours a week Monday - Friday I don't mind how the 12 hours are spread over the 5 days, am very flexible if you need to change at times, as long as you can cover helping with my lunch every day (Mon - Fri) (My husband cooks my breakfast & dinner).
Hourly pay rate:
£24.48 per hour
I’m looking for a kind, reliable, and self-employed Personal Assistant to support me for 12 hours a week, Monday to Friday. My current PA is moving on, so I’m hoping to find someone to start from Monday, 15th September.
I’m a 49-year-old former primary school teacher living with long-term health conditions, including Functional Neurological Disorder, Fibromyalgia, and Type 2 Diabetes. I’ve been living with the effects of Transverse Myelitis since 2002, which impacts my mobility and causes chronic pain.
I use a stick and stairlift indoors, and a wheelchair or mobility scooter when out and about. I live with my husband and two adult children – both lovely and supportive, but one busy with work and the other is about to start university.
Duties include:
checking that I don't fall asleep at lunchtime, so I can eat and take my medication.
Candidate qualities:
Must be comfortable with Pets, as I have an elderly but friendly Ginger cat
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
