20 hrs a week - 4 hrs each weekday 9am - 1pm but could be flexible.

Hourly pay rate:

£13.00

I am looking for a compassionate, patient, and kind-hearted female to support my beloved 60-year-old wife.

Before her stroke, she was a dedicated full-time administrator who loved her work. She is creative, artistic, and enjoys making things. She also adores her three grandchildren and has a special bond with our dog, so a love for dogs is a must!

She has been facing challenges with her mental health and requires someone who can provide not only practical support but also companionship and encouragement to engage in daily living activities.

I am looking for 4 hrs support each weekday but this could be a job share.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

  • Putting on creams
  • Taking to appointments
  • Encouraging to engage in hobbies

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
