Hello. I am a 30-year-old female looking for a personal assistant, to support me with living independently in my home and to get out and about. I predominantly live alone with my 2 lively but loving dogs. My partner visits regularly so will also be here on occasions.
In recent years I have been diagnosed with several mental and physical health problems which have negatively impacted on my daily life. I need someone who is willing to help and support me with daily activities whilst having a laugh in the process. My mental health and anxieties mean that I sometimes struggle to leave the security of my flat so accompanying me on dog walks, shopping trips and partaking in iced lattes at Costa are a necessity!
I have a variety of interests ranging from dinosaurs, arts and crafts, Ed Sheeran and music in general. When I’m well I’m a bubbly, chatty, fun person to be around, some would call me quite “special”, so you certainly won’t get bored!
Duties include:
- To walk my dogs with me
- To go out for a coffee with me
- To come with me to physical and mental health appointments
- To laugh at my jokes ;)
Candidate qualities:
- Able to tolerate the employer smoking outside the workplace.
Notes:
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position, you will be either engaged directly or employed by the individual employer and not by Independent Lives. The role may be offered on an employed or self-employed basis, depending on the suitability and agreement with the employer. If the role is employed, you will be entitled to holiday pay and issued an employment contract.
