I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

Minimum 6hrs a week, ideally split over two days

Hourly pay rate:

£13 per hour plus mileage for outings

Are you looking to help someone find their happiness again? Look no further! I am a bubbly, friendly lady who wants someone to keep me company. I love all things arts and crafts – from painting to making cards.

My family is very important to me – I have 2 sons, one of which lives with me alongside my 4 cats who I adore! Therefore, for this role you must be comfortable with cats.

I'm looking for companionship, outings and some help with light household duties. Applicants should be a driver with their own car that is capable of taking my wheelchair.

Candidate qualities:

  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
