We’re looking for a friendly, creative, and reliable PA to provide adhoc morning support at home, on days when parents are working outside the house.

This is a non-personal care role, but the PA must be confident with manual lifting, as the child requires physical assistance and is small for his age (underweight and short in height).

A cheerful and well-mannered 10-year-old boy, currently at home awaiting a place in a specialist educational setting. He has autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties, and is a full-time wheelchair user. He has a cheeky personality, enjoys the company of others, and thrives on interaction and play.

At the moment, he is feeling quite lonely during the day and would benefit greatly from some engaging, consistent company.

Duties include:

  • Moving and handling
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

Candidate qualities:

  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
