I am 19 and on the hunt for a buddy/support worker to hang out with and join me in all sorts of activities and experiences. Some days will be chilled and others adventurous.
I’m into sailing and have a good taste in music (I like a bit of everything but mainly pop/mainstream music). With your help, I would like to try out new activities and experiences, things like other sports, comedy/karaoke evenings, going to the cinema and listening to live music. I would also like to find some voluntary work such as working with animals.
I need someone who is enthusiastic and energetic, who will be motivational without rushing me, supporting me to make plans on what we do and where we go. Someone who can drive our motability vehicle is preferred, but for the right person, we can work it out.
If you share similar interests and appreciate slapstick humour and witty banter, I can certainly promise a few laughs as we go!
Duties include:
- Participating in social and leisure activities with me e.g. cinema, live music, various sports etc
- Participating in activities with me and my family
- Support me to find and access/engage in voluntary activities
