About me

I am a caring individual with years of experience in health and social care. I have been at all levels of care including Operational Management and as a registered manager and carer. I can adapt to an individual’s social care needs, and I enjoy empowering and supporting others through their challenges. I am a fully qualified professional carer and my DBS is on the update service. My mandatory training is refreshed annually. I am hard working, reliable, trustworthy, caring, empathetic and passionate about people and their well-being. I have an Honours degree in Health and Social Care (Open), and I am also a qualified trainer. I love to care as it’s the one way you can make a difference.

My experience

I have previously run a dementia crisis service and I work well with dementia patients. I have also worked with acquired brain injury, severe disabilities and cerebral palsy. I am comfortable with companionship, personal care, outings, taking people shopping or any other type of care required. Having been a registered manager with a good CQC rating I understand quality.

Training

I have current mandatory training, an Hon degree in Health and Social Care (Open) and a Diploma in training and Education Level 3. Risk assessment for managers, NVQ Level 4, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, Manual Handling, First Aid, Medication, Mental Health awareness.
