About me
I am a mother to 3 young children under 7 and live at home with them and my partner.
I have a NVQ level 2&3 health and social care and have had 15 years experience in care giving roles along with personal experience having two siblings with learning disabilities.
I love to spend time with my family creating memories and I love coffee!
I am looking for work Monday-Friday evenings from 6pm and available every other weekend.
I am willing to do night shifts over the weekend but unable in the week days. I can be able to work some daytime shifts term time only during my children’s nursery/school hours and may be available for some bank holidays.
My experience
From aged 16- 18 I worked as a personal assistant via independent lives for a young individual with learning disabilities and then went on the work in a supported living service for 9 years with young adults with disabilities helping them to be independent in their own homes. During this time alongside this I also began again with independent lives supporting a child with learning disabilities through to adulthood in their family home.
Training
I have both a level 2 and a level 3 NVQ in health and social care.
I have completed training via independent lives in 2023 for first aid, manual handling, safeguarding, medication level 1&2, dementia awareness, food hygiene and infection control.
I have previously been trained in peg training including re insertion.
I also have experience of feeding with a NG tube.
