About me
I am a fit and healthy person with a caring nature, who is keen, reliable, outgoing, enthusiastic and cheerful with a positive attitude. I am a car driver with a full clean UK license with business insurance. Having worked as a
PA/Support Worker for almost 7 years, I have gained extensive experience of working with children and adults (both male and female).
As a PA I have experience of supporting clients within their homes and in the community.
I obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies and Music (Grade: 2:1) in 2004.
My experience
My experience ranges from a number of:
Learning difficulties (Autism, Asperger's, ADHD and Dyslexia), brain injuries, Cerebral palsy, MS, wheelchair experience including an electric wheelchair, Down's Syndrome, non-verbal (epileptic), severe Dementia, personal care, administration of medicines, Attachment disorder, severely visually impaired (client has a guide dog), mental health conditions and Fragile X Syndrome.
Training
Food Hygiene, Medication Awareness, Basic First Aid, Infection Control, Healthcare Safety Awareness, Safeguarding Adults, Dementia Awareness, Moving and Handling, Introduction to Autism, Safeguarding and Emergency First Aid at Work (St John Ambulance).
