About me
I have worked in the industry for 10 years, starting as a house keeper and working as a care assistant for the last 7 years. I also work as a well-being / activities assistant.
I believe people deserve the best care, person centred at whatever stage in their life.
I enjoy watching speedway, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
My experience
I’ve worked in nursing homes since 14 years old, providing care for a range of different needs. I can work in a team but also autonomously. The activities role enables me to look after the whole person, caring not only for their physical needs, but for their emotional, psychological and social needs.
Training
I have an NVQ 3 in health and social care.
As part of my current role I am up to date with my mandatory training, such as Moving and assisting, COSHH, fire safety, infection control, Dysphagia, basic first aid, health and safety, catheter care, dementia.
