Autism Support Crawley are running a free 2-part workshop called “Understanding autism, neurodiversity and neurotypicalism”. It’s delivered by autism specialist and consultant Nicole Goodman (MEd Autism, BA Hons Psych), and you can join online or in person.
The workshop looks at what current research and thinking tell us about autism, and what that means for autistic people and their families. Topics include how autistic people see and experience the world, how we can adapt our own thinking and behaviour to support autistic people, and an introduction to diagnosis, terminology and co-occurring conditions.
It’s open to parents, carers and professionals. It’s designed for people at any stage, whether you’re just starting out, want a refresher, or have been supporting someone for years.
