Autism: Alternative Communication Methods

During this session we will:

  • Discuss social communication differences and how to build effective 2 way communication with the individuals you support that does not rely on speaking.
  • Explore augmentative and alternative communication methods and how to implement them.
  • Share real life examples of non-speaking individuals who have overcome great adversity to communicate and advocate for themselves and others.

This training will be delivered by Aspens, online via Microsoft Teams, and is fully funded for PAs.
