I am a kind, gentle, funny 9 year old boy with a good sense of humour and a touch of cheekiness!

I enjoy playing in the garden for short periods, trampolining, using my iPAd, drawing and sensory activities such as painting and using clay.

I am looking for a friendly, reliable, experienced Support Worker to support me with activities at home.  Plus taking me to swimming, bowling, train journeys, theme parks, farms and soft play.

I struggle with food and eating.  Support with tube feeding, toileting and changing my clothes will be required.

Experience preferred but training/instruction will be provided.

Driver with own car required.  You must be able/willing to push and lift my manual wheelchair, although I am not big or heavy.   You should also be comfortable with dogs.

You would report to my mum who is the employer.

Duties include:

  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Pushing manual wheelchair and lifting in/out of car

Candidate qualities:

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
