Hours Per Week: An average of 5 hpw Days required: Weekends and also some week days during non-term time. Exact times to be agreed with employer.

Hourly pay rate:

£13.60

Accessing Swimming and Sports Activities

Assisting him in participating in physical activities such as swimming sessions and other sports. This includes helping with logistics, supervision, and encouragement to promote confidence and enjoyment.

Supporting Shopping Trips

Accompanying him on shopping outings, helping him navigate stores, make choices, and enjoy the experience in a relaxed and supportive manner. Assist him to make card payments as he does not understand the value.

The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to fostering independence and positive social experiences. Flexibility and a sense of fun are essential.

Occasional - Facilitating Social Outings

Supporting our son in arranging and attending meet-ups with his school friends for leisure and fun. This will include assisting with transportation, helping with planning, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience in either Crawley or Horley.

Propose fun ideas or places to visit over the weekend that my son may enjoy.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Shopping
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

You must be able to have excellent communication skills and speak to my son slowly in short, clear sentences and in different ways to ensure he has understood you.
