I am a woman living in St Leonards with my very supportive partner and our young son.
I am profoundly hard of hearing, with complete hearing loss in my left ear and progressive hearing loss in my right. I have diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
I am looking for a kind, patient, and understanding person to support me at my own pace in accessing the services, activities, and networks that are important to me.
I would like support to identify and attend local social groups and support networks that promote healthy eating, help me build confidence, and reduce social isolation. I would also appreciate assistance with booking and attending medical appointments.
Another area where I need support is with general household cleaning, as I find this particularly challenging. Having help to maintain a clean, comfortable home would make a positive difference to my wellbeing and help reduce daily stress.
Because of my hearing loss, I communicate best face to face whenever possible.
If you feel you could be the right person to support me, I would love to hear from you. It would be lovely to meet you.
