I am a 19-year-old man living in Pevensey Bay near Eastbourne. I have 5 hours per week available and am looking for someone to support me. I would like to increase my independence, especially around social activities so that I am less reliant on my parents to be available to take me to events that I like. I have care and support needs related to my learning difficulties and neurodiverse conditions. I have been diagnosed with the following: Foetal Alcohol Syndrome, Periventricular Heterotopia, ADHD, Autism and Multifactorial Learning Difficulties.
I am in my forth year of college and attend four days per week on a catering course, I have other interests in my life, including going to Amazing Futures, Nik Naks and Millie's Disco at Chaseley Trust which is once a month on a Friday evening, and I would like you to attend with me as my friends are not always there. I love cars and likes to go to car shows whenever possible and enjoy riding on buses. I like to watch videos online about cars and enjoy gaming.
I have a very close relationship with my dads and spend time at each of their houses, I also have a very good group of friends that I see regularly. I would like to explore more social activities and would need your support to do this. I would like some form of employment in the future and could perhaps investigate some voluntary opportunities initially.
