I am a young lady in my early thirties living in my own flat in Polegate. I am looking for a kind and patient support worker to work alongside my other PA for 6 hours per week and to cover each other for holidays and sickness.
I have Autism and a history of depression and anxiety. I currently taking medication to help stabilise my mood. I also have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) Indigestion difficulties (continuing to be investigated) Overactive bladder and Rhinitis.
My needs and abilities are variable day to day.
I enjoy spending time on my computer; I have several friends who I maintain contact with usually via Facebook. I enjoy arts and crafts including diamond art, gardening and visiting national trust places. I love Dr Who. I am an animal lover, and my parents have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and I love spending time with them. I enjoy SWOOVE classes locally, which boost my physical health and mental health. I continue to enjoy my volunteering roles and spending time with family.
I will need the continued support of a personal assistant to help me manage my day to day needs such as appointments, admin, household management and budgeting, managing medication ordering monitoring and shopping, prompting with laundry and domestic chores.
I attend appointments on occasion in London and would need support to attend these appointments
