We’re looking for a friendly, down-to-earth Personal Assistant to support a man with cystic fibrosis and some learning difficulties to live more independently and confidently.
He’s looking for someone who can help him stay connected socially and support him in getting out into the community. Whether it’s heading to appointments, helping make phone calls, or just being there for a chat and a bit of structure, you’ll play an important part in his routine. You'll also lend a hand with managing day-to-day admin and finances, making things feel a little more manageable and less overwhelming for him.
This role would suit someone who’s kind, patient, and organised — someone who understands the value of independence and respects the unique pace and needs of another person. You don’t need years of experience; the right attitude matters most, and training can be provided if needed.
If you’re someone who believes that small things can make a big difference — and you want to be that difference in someone’s life — we’d love to hear from you.
Duties include:
- Support with accessing the local community and encourage him to socialise
- Assist with his finances
- Attend appointments
