We are looking for proactive, empathetic, organised and professional self employed PAs, with a genuine interest in supporting a young woman to regain her strength and aid her recovery.

I am a 21-year-old woman living with long Covid and a range of complex health needs. I’m looking to build a small team of self-employed Personal Assistants to share 24 hours of support per week. Hours and days are fully flexible, and roles can be adapted to suit the right people.

I am on the autistic spectrum and have ARFID as well as coeliac disease, so experience or understanding of these would be helpful, although not essential.

I’m looking for PAs who are calm, patient, confident, gentle and reliable—people who will help me feel comfortable and supported so we can build a positive, long-term working relationship.

My interests include spending time with friends, card-making and writing letters, and I’d appreciate support that helps me stay involved in the things I enjoy.

Duties include:

Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
