Are you someone who enjoys being out and about, sharing laughs, and making a real difference in someone’s life? We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and reliable personal assistant to support our son — a young adult with learning disabilities and complex epilepsy — as he enjoys the world around him.

He’s full of life and absolutely thrives in the outdoors. Whether he’s watching or playing football, shooting a game of pool, tossing darts, playing cricket, or visiting animals, he approaches everything with enthusiasm and a big smile. His joy is truly infectious, and being around him is never dull.

This is a one-to-one role, providing dedicated support at home and out in the community. You’ll be there to help him navigate daily activities, stay safe, and most importantly, enjoy life to the fullest. While experience with epilepsy and emergency medical care is a bonus, it’s not essential — full training will be provided. What matters most is your attitude: caring, attentive, and ready to jump into fun-filled days with an open heart.

If you're someone who values connection, wants a meaningful role, and loves the idea of spending your days making memories — we’d love to hear from you.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance

  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
